Olesya, a young girl in rural Ukraine, is preparing for an upcoming celebration of the Ivana Kupala night. Her heart is heavy as her mother is sick at home. The summer solstice is rumored to produce the most potent healing herbs. So Olesya undertakes a daring adventure into the forest in the middle of the night. However, the most prized treasure one can seek that night is the fern flower. Can Olesya outwit and overcome dangerous inhabitants of the forest and find the flower, or is she doomed to be forever lost in the woods?
